Who we are

Welcome to Miss Fashion Vs Beauty

My Name Is Nyomi and I am the creator and director of  Miss FVB. I have appeared on a number of prime time television shows.

I started the show in 2010 at the Mercure Holland House Hotel. I had competed in a number of beauty pageants myself but always felt that they lacked sometimes special. The all American pageant theme was simply repeated each time. Most pageants refuse applications from contestants who have ever had:

children, been married, over 25 years old. Theses limits to me seemed unfair as I feel that a woman blossom after this age. With that said I created Miss FVB something Unique . I have modelled since I was 8 years old and wanted to combine fashion & beauty pageants together on one stage.  Every show has been amazing. We have contestants entering from all the UK. The show has even been seen on hit show DEAL OR NO DEAL, Don't Sit in the front row. Jack Dee, and Shopaholic Showdown with Holly Valance. Each contestant who takes part helps create something special. New hope for children in Wales suffering from cerebral palsy. We give 100% of profits to Cerebral Palsy Cymru. The show has been running now for 8 years. Show your support and enter today.

As a former trustee of a anti Bullying Charity, As I am very keen to stop bullying in the model/ pageant industry. The experience should always be a confidence boost.

Cerebral Palsy Cymru is a registered charity that provides specialist therapy to children throughout Wales who have cerebral palsy.

Cerebral Palsy Cymru provides specialist physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech and language therapy. Cerebral Palsy Cymru therapists are state-registered and work together as a team to combine these disciplines to give each child the skills to explore their world, communicate their needs, maximise their potential and so improve their quality of life.

At Bobath Children’s Therapy Centre Wales we focus on the ability and not the disability.

Our mission is to ‘deliver world class Cerebral Palsy Cymru to as many children with cerebral palsy in Wales as possible.’
